Registered Manager — Senior & Supported Living

£30,484.71 – £48,000.00 per year

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare facility specialising in senior supported living, assisted living, and home care services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of patient care, and a commitment to delivering high-quality services. This role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a supportive environment for residents and staff alike.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise healthcare staff, including nurses, carers, and support personnel, ensuring effective team management and supervision.
  • Oversee the delivery of personalised patient care programmes, including dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and working with individuals with disabilities, autism and mental health needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare legislation, policies, and standards.
  • Coordinate case management activities to optimise patient outcomes and service efficiency.
  • Manage staffing rotas, recruitment processes, and staff development initiatives to maintain a motivated workforce.
  • Monitor clinical practices such as medication administration, anatomy knowledge application, and laboratory procedures where applicable.
  • Maintain accurate records related to patient care, staff performance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents' families and external health professionals to ensure holistic care delivery.
  • Promote a safe environment by implementing health & safety protocols and infection control measures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in senior healthcare management roles within Domiciliary care or Supported living and Domiciliary care.
  • Demonstrable expertise in dementia care, Alzheimer's care, mental health care, and working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Strong leadership skills with prior supervising or team management experience.
  • Knowledge of case management principles and patient care practices across various settings including home care and medical facilities.
  • Familiarity with anatomy knowledge, medication administration protocols.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Compassionate approach towards residents' wellbeing combined with professional integrity.
  • Relevant qualifications in healthcare management or nursing are preferred but not essential if extensive practical experience is demonstrated.
